Job Summary
Develop and oversee comprehensive training programs for all staff, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and service standards. Conduct regular training needs analyses, create updated materials, and facilitate workshops to address identified gaps. Perform compliance audits and inspections to verify adherence to internal policies and external regulations, implementing corrective actions for deviations. Collaborate with operational teams to integrate training initiatives and liaise with regulatory bodies during reviews. Foster a culture of continuous learning while managing the training and compliance team's performance and accountability.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- Eligible to work in Canada
- Must possess a valid, provincially issued permanent driver's license (e.g., Class 5 or Class G)
- Communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking)
- Minimum 3 years training experience
- Several years of Management or Supervisory skills
- Knowledge of the Aviation Industry
- Ability to lead a team of trainers and their performance and accountability
- You have a great attention to detail
- Ability to access and interpret information in print and electronically, including the use of electronic devices including IPads/Tablets, Computers, and Mobile Devices
- Effectively communicate with colleagues and clients, both in-person and through electronic means
- Eligible to pass a background check and obtain and maintain a RAIC (Restricted Area Identity Card)
- Airlines are 24/7, so we need our team members to be flexible to work various shifts including nights, weekends and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
- Be able to hear and respond to the spoken voice and to audible alarms
- Close vision (clear vision at 20 inches or less)
- distance vision (clear vision at 20 feet or more)
- peripheral vision (ability to observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point)
