Job Summary
Provide excellent customer service, ensure a high-value shopping experience, and achieve sales goals while acting as the business and cultural leader of the store team. Operate the Hunting Department, receive stock, display merchandise, and release customer firearms. Supervise store employees daily, make assignments, manage audits, and follow up on orders. Load and unload trucks, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in teams across various departments as needed. Work at least 45 hours per week with occasional travel for events or training.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate (or GED)
- College graduate or some college
- Fluent in English
- Sales experience in a leading role
- Legally eligible to work in a firearms environment
- Must be 18 years or older
- Certificate of Eligibility
- Customer service experience
- Ability to multi-task and work in a face paced environment
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in teams and with various levels of management and personnel
- Ability to load/unload trucks
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to use both hands when handling a firearm
- Ability to use a computer proficiently
- Ability to grasp instruction to new software programs
- Ability to stand, sit, bend and lift throughout the course of a scheduled shift
- Ability to work at least 45 hours per week
- Availability during black-out periods
