Job Summary
The Manager Trainee position involves producing annual budgets, overseeing sales and inventory management, managing nursery marketing, assisting with purchasing, and maintaining safety standards. Responsibilities include training employees, preparing work schedules, implementing safety training, and providing excellent customer service. Candidates should possess strong problem-solving and communication skills, and must have forklift certification. This is a full-time role requiring the ability to lift significant weight and work under varied environmental conditions.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in an operations role
- Ability to lift, pull, push and/or carry 50lbs
- Pre employment drug screening required

- Ability to effectively coordinate and complete numerous activities simultaneously
- Ability to identify problems and work in conjunction with others to implement effective solutions
- Independent judgment to develop creative solutions to spontaneous problems that may arise
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must be able to work effectively under pressure
- Forklift experience and certification required
