Job Summary
Manager Trainee at Insta-Cash Pawn / Village Jewelry & Loan in the Dallas-area stores (Dallas and Lewisville) responsible for pawnbroker tasks including writing pawn loans, processing buys, and sales to retail customers. Supervises employees, assigns tasks, takes inventories, reconciles cash with sales receipts, maintains operating records and daily paperwork, and acts as Store Manager in the assigned manager’s absence while ensuring compliance. Greet customers to determine needs and propose financial solutions; perform open/close procedures; keep sales floor stocked; oversee Pawnbrokers; assist management with pricing of hard goods; demonstrate accountability, leadership, and a proactive, outgoing demeanor; excel in customer service, communication, and teamwork. Requires high school diploma or GED, 18+, cash handling, retail and management experience, computer literacy, bilingual ability, and eligibility for a Texas Pawnbroker License.
Required Qualifications

- 1 year retail sales experience

- Must meet all eligibility requirements for a Pawnbroker License in the State of Texas
