Manager Trainee

Manager Trainee responsible for learning the management of a small driver count and/or non-traditional shifts (including nights and weekends), ensuring safe and timely movement of freight, load assignment, and providing best-in-class customer service. Will be trained to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and to oversee drivers' compliance and company regulations while coordinating with internal/external contacts to ensure accurate planning, routing, monitoring, and delivery of freight and loads. Key responsibilities include building relationships with drivers and carriers, covering for absent personnel, optimizing fleet operations, training drivers/employees, analyzing KPI data, reporting to customers, managing inventory/assets, payroll and Net-Revenue budgeting, driver coaching, maintaining yard operations, ensuring safety procedures and DOT compliance, assigning loads, and maintaining safety culture. Qualifications include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education/experience, willingness to travel and relocate as needed, and ability to work various shifts.
