Job Summary
Manager, Trade Operations provides value-added support for Brookfield’s Credit investment teams by overseeing trade activities from execution to settlement, trade confirmations, and reconciliation in client accounts. Responsibilities include managing payment processing, bank portals/SWIFT connectivity, custodian relationships, account management, and team oversight; developing and enhancing a SOC 1 framework; monitoring KPIs and SLAs; facilitating derivative and collateral settlements; serving as the primary liaison to Portfolio Managers, Traders, and Third-Party Asset Managers; and ensuring accurate, timely end-to-end trade processes while supporting leadership and staff as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related discipline preferred
- Seven (7) to ten (10) years of experience working for an asset management firm or hedge fund in middle and back office operations
- Familiarity with Bloomberg, Bloomberg AIM, PAM for Investments, PAM for Securities, SOX/SOC 1 control framework, Aladdin, Data Visualization Tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI), Reconciliation Software (e.g., Electra STARS, DUCO), SWIFT messaging, Corporate Actions, Collateral Management, Fixed Income, Derivatives and Data Governance preferred
