Manager, Trade Lane Procurement - APAC to ECSA

Job Summary
Manager, Trade Lane Procurement – APAC to ECSA responsible for leading procurement, pricing, and allocation strategies across East Coast South America trade lanes. Builds and sustains carrier relationships, negotiates optimal rates and service levels, manages pricing tools and escalation cycles (GRI/PSS), and ensures compliant contract management. Collaborates with sales and operations to align procurement with commercial objectives, supports RFQ responses and mini-tenders, and drives profitability and growth in the APAC→ECSA corridor. Requires English and Portuguese fluency; Spanish is a plus. Strong analytical, negotiation, and contract-management skills; experience with APAC–LATAM or WCSA lanes and Freightify or similar pricing systems; proficient in Excel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum 7–10 years of experience in ocean freight procurement, carrier management, or trade lane management
- Experience working with APAC–LATAM or WCSA trade lanes is highly desirable
- Strong negotiation and carrier relationship management skills
- Proficiency in pricing systems (e.g., Freightify) and Microsoft Excel
- Fluency in English and Portuguese; Spanish is an advantage
- Knowledge of FMC regulations and compliance requirements
