Job Summary
Manager, Time Charging Compliance (On-site): Lead the optimization and governance of time-charging practices to safeguard financial integrity and ensure regulatory compliance. Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership, analyzing data to support strategic decisions, monitoring charging practices for accuracy and adherence to company policies and government regulations (FAR, DFARS, CAS, OMB), and developing/updating internal charging policies. Conduct regular reviews and audits to identify discrepancies, generate management reports on trends and opportunities, and design/deliver training on charging compliance. Collaborate with Finance, Internal Audit, HR, Legal, and other departments to align initiatives and support special projects.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A./B.S.) in Business, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in defense contracting, with at least 3 years specifically focused on time-charging practice management
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis
- Excellent communication skills (written and oral) with the ability to build strong relationships across departments
- Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance
- Knowledge of database structures for data extraction from ERP platforms (advanced Excel skills a plus)
- Familiarity with government contracting regulations (FAR, DFARS, CAS, OMB)
- A proactive and forward-thinking approach to problem-solving in a fast-paced environment
