Job Summary
Manager Technology - Finance leads planning solutions for Amgen's Finance professionals, owning the architecture and SDLC documentation for a connected planning ecosystem.Responsibilities include collaborating with Product Owner/SMEs to define application focus and rollout, driving data quality and integrity in Hyperion planning systems (and related tools like SAP, DRM, AWS), ensuring platform availability and performance, facilitating annual budgets and forecasts, and mentoring team members. Requires proven Hyperion Planning experience, experience with Oracle DRM or similar master data management tools, DevOps/Agile experience (Jira), and strong leadership in cross-functional, matrixed environments. Certifications in Hyperion Planning are preferred; SAFe for Teams and strong communication skills are desired. Shift information indicates potential evening/night shifts based on business needs. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Information Systems or Finance & Accounting Functional Skills
- 4+ years functional experience in financial budgeting and reporting in a large corporate environment (preferred)
- Proven experience implementing or managing multiple Planning solutions in Oracle Hyperion (on-prem experience preferred)
- Experience with multiple EPM tools a plus
- Experience in DevOps teams with agile tools like Jira
- Experience leading and managing teams within a matrixed organization
- Professional Certifications: Oracle Hyperion Planning Certified Implementation Specialist (preferred)
- Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) for Teams (preferred)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Strong solution design and problem-solving skills
- Strong understanding of technology, function, or platform
- Ability to analyze client requirements and translate them into solutions
