Job Summary
Oversee and manage operation and provision of services for venues and their related facilities and systems. Supervise internal staff, outsourced facilities management vendors, and maintenance contractors to ensure high-standard service delivery. Manage vendors for repairing and maintenance works of all building services systems, installations, and building structures. Contribute to facilities development design focusing on operation life cycle, safety, health best practices, and incident risk management. Prepare site operation manuals, incident risk, and emergency operation procedures. Manage emergency incidents, resolve issues timely, and drive continuous improvements. Be available to attend emergency calls after office hours and support events organized in WKCD.
Required Qualifications
- recognised university degree in Building Services / Mechanical / Electrical Engineering
- at least 10 years of experience in building operation, maintenance, repair and improvement
- at least 5 years at managerial level
- professional knowledge of and practical experience with risk management
- practical experience with event management
- practical experience with safety and security control
- practical experience with budget control
- practical experience with incident response
- practical experience with other building operation guideline or best practice
- valid Construction Industry Safety Training Certificate under Section 6BA(2) of the Factories and Industrial Undertakings Ordinance
- ability to professionally handle confidential matters
- appropriate level of judgment and decision making to commensurate with the position and responsibilities
- proficient in PC knowledge including AutoCAD
- proficient in MS Applications
- proficient in written and spoken English
- proficient in Chinese
- be available to attend emergency calls after office hours
Desired Qualifications
- preferably in sizable non-residential portfolios such as commercial and entertainment complexes and/or institution complexes
- preferably be holders of Registered Electrical Worker (Grade B or above)
- preferably professionally qualified, such as corporate/full membership of HKIE, CIBSE, IMechE, or equivalent
- familiar with Facilities Management System
- familiar with Building Management System (BMS)
- familiar with Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
- familiar with others facilities management systems in theatres, rehearsal facilities, F&Bs, and retails
- knowledge in Building Information Modeling (BIM)
- excellent interpersonal skills to work with and communicate to internal and external parties at all levels
