Manager Technical Sales

Job Summary
Manage key customer accounts and relationships to drive performance and sustainable business growth within DKSH's Performance Materials division. Monitor sales targets, conduct market surveys, and analyze competitor trends to support informed commercial decision-making. Deliver accurate sales forecasting and variance analysis while maintaining daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly performance analyses. Prospect new accounts, conduct targeted customer visits, and resolve complaints by investigating root causes and presenting clear recommendations. Manage the project pipeline via CRM systems to convert opportunities into commercial success. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Food Science or related field, 3+ years in technical sales, and 2+ years in management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Food Science or a related field
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar technical sales role
- Minimum 2 to 3 years of experience in a managerial capacity
- Sound knowledge of regulatory requirements of products within assigned territories, including handling procedures, shelf life, and storage standards
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage stakeholders confidently at all levels, both internally and externally
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities, work well under pressure, and meet deadlines consistently
- Demonstrated sense of ownership and accountability, with a proactive, problem-solving mindset and a bias for prompt and decisive action
- Proficiency in office productivity tools including Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
