Job Summary
Lead technical and techno-economic analyses, design aspects, and project management for utility-scale BESS technologies and hybrid solutions. Prepare and agree on project specifications, budgets, and timescales with contractors, clients, or stakeholders, while defining basic designs and creating or reviewing test procedures for hybrid plant components. Provide technical guidance and leadership throughout development lifecycles, manage resource allocation, and ensure project alignment with organizational goals. Prepare EPC technical annexes and utilize hybrid simulation tools to support large-scale project execution. Requires a Master's degree in engineering and 6-8 years of experience in BESS technologies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or science
- Master's Degree related in electrical/mechanical/chemical engineering or related field
- 6-8 years of relevant work experience in BESS technologies and at least 3 years of experience in leading the technical stream of large scale BESS hybrid projects or equivalent experience
- Ability to multi-task and manage numerous projects simultaneously
- Proficient in Hybrid simulation tool, and exposure to one of the following hybrid power plants simulation tools
- EPC technical annex preparation
- Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Knowledge of photovoltaic systems, battery energy storage systems and grid energy management systems
- Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
- Must be able to learn, understand, and apply new technologies
