Manager, Tax - Project Manager

Job Summary
Lead client engagement teams and other stakeholders across the full lifecycle of complex tax-related engagements; develop and maintain project charters and execution plans, including scope, schedule, budget, approach, assumptions, deliverables, and communication plans; monitor progress, changes, key performance indicators, and prepare reports/presentations for clients and stakeholders; enforce adherence to practice PM processes and tools; identify risk factors and resolve issues; manage internal/client-facing meetings with clear objectives and action items; oversee the project change control process; travel as needed to service engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum five years of recent experience in project management in a professional services environment
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
- Licensed CPA, JD/LLM or EA, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; must obtain at least one credential within one year if not possessed at hire
- PMP certification is preferred
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OneNote, Teams, Outlook); experience with SharePoint and Project highly desired
- Strong organizational, presentation, communication, facilitation, analytical and supervisory skills
- Willingness and ability to travel (travel is highly likely under 10%)
