Job Summary
Manager, Talent Attraction to lead corporate recruitment across Brookfield lines of business (Real Estate, Private Equity, Infrastructure and Corporate) from Toronto base. The role involves sourcing candidates creatively, evaluating resumes, presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers, posting job descriptions, coordinating interviews with HR, gathering market data on hiring trends and compensation, building partnerships with internal stakeholders, developing recruiting goals with business units, ensuring a positive candidate experience, educating candidates on Brookfield culture and career benefits, and tracking recruiting metrics for senior management updates. Requirements include a BA/BS and 7-10 years of recruitment experience (in-house or agency) with a proven track record in finance, operations, and corporate functions; strong interpersonal, verbal/written communication, and organizational skills; ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-change environment; high level of initiative, energy, and results orientation; and a focus on diversity and inclusive hiring practices.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS
- 7-10 years of recruitment experience in finance sector
- In-house recruitment or recruitment agency experience
- Track record of employee placement in finance, operations and corporate functions
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-change environment
- Initiative and results-oriented mindset
- Knowledge of compensation discussions and market data
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships with hiring managers and internal stakeholders
- Experience developing recruitment strategies and posting/editing job descriptions
