Job Summary
Manage daily employment and recruitment activities for the Sarasota Memorial Health Care System, setting the tone for team work tasks and projects while ensuring responsibilities are completed successfully in support of organizational goals. Provide operational accountability and oversight for the Talent Acquisition function, modeling positive leadership behavior. This role requires a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field and five years of professional HR experience with two years in a supervisory capacity. Applicants must possess end-to-end recruiting and sourcing experience, ideally with PeopleSoft and knowledge of cutting-edge recruiting technologies. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business or Public Administration, or related field from an accredited college or university
- minimum of five (5) years of overall professional Human Resources experience
- two (2) years in a supervisory/managerial role
- background screening through The Florida Care Provider Background Screening Clearinghouse
Desired Qualifications
- experience with PeopleSoft as an Applicant Tracking System
- experience with Project Management and Program Implementation
- experience with online job-hunting websites (LinkedIn, Indeed etc.)
- knowledge of and experience with cutting-edge recruiting practices and technologies
- knowledgeable in all aspects of Human Resources practices and techniques to include performance management, employee and preventative labor relations, HR regulatory and compliance management recruitment and selection, employment administration compensation and benefits, manpower and succession planning and internal consulting
- previous end-to-end recruiting and sourcing experience
- strong understanding of the healthcare industry
- working knowledge of HR information systems and technology
