Manager, Supply Planning

Job Summary
Lead and develop a team of supply and inventory planners while establishing a weekly planning rhythm. Translate demand forecasts into purchasing requirements, production plans, and replenishment strategies across SKUs, suppliers, and distribution nodes. Own days of inventory on hand by balancing service levels, working capital, and cost through decisions on safety stock, order sizing, and allocation. Continuously optimize planning parameters like lead times and reorder points based on observed performance. Partner with Sourcing, Operations, and Demand Planning to monitor supplier constraints, support S&OP decision-making, and ensure clean execution on product launches. Improve in-house planning tools with Data Science and Engineering.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in supply planning, inventory planning, operations, or supply chain analytics in retail, e-commerce, or CPG
- experience leading or mentoring others
- operating in complex environments with global sourcing and long lead times
- Strong supply planning fundamentals: replenishment logic, safety stock, lead times, MOQ constraints, and service level trade-offs
- Strong analytical and technical skills, including advanced Excel, a working knowledge of SQL, and comfort with planning systems and BI tools
- attention to detail: clean data, accurate parameters, and reliable execution with minimal downstream rework
- Experience using automation and AI-enabled tools to improve planning workflows, analyze large datasets, and accelerate decision-making
- An operational mindset, understanding how plans play out across sourcing, production, warehouses, and transportation
- Clear, structured communication that lays out the issue, impact, options, and recommendation
- paired with a bias for action: spotting risks early and driving fixes before they hit service or inventory
