Manager Supply Chain Site Coordinator

Job Summary
Act as the central supply chain interface between internal planning teams and external contract manufacturing organizations, coordinating supply and demand information to align production plans, purchase orders, and delivery schedules with market requirements. Proactively identify and manage supply exceptions, shortages, backorders, and stock-outs to address potential disruptions before impacting customer service levels and product availability. Monitor delivery schedules, open orders, and order exceptions while providing forecasts to manufacturing partners and supporting synchronization between customer orders, production campaigns, and material availability. Manage supply priorities and exceptions to maintain agreed customer service levels, coordinate product rework activities at CMO sites, and lead supply chain-related projects as needed. Work cross-functionally with market supply planning, customer service, quality, and procurement while supporting supply chain performance analysis and relevant KPIs. This 12-month temporary assignment in Neuchatel, Switzerland, requires a hybrid 50:50 work model and fluent English, with French or German as an advantage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Management or a related discipline
- Around 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical, consumer products or a comparable regulated manufacturing environment, ideally within Supply Chain or Manufacturing
- Hands-on experience in supply planning and coordination with manufacturing sites and/or external manufacturing partners
- Strong knowledge of Master Scheduling, Forecasting, Customer Service, Logistics, Distribution and/or Inventory Management
- Very good understanding of operational planning processes, including MPS, MRP and forecasting
- Experience working with ERP systems
- Fluent English
- Willingness to travel occasionally if required
Desired Qualifications
- French and/or German
- SAP, BI and/or APO experience
- APICS certification (CPIM and/or CSCP)
- Project management experience
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify supply risks and drive issues towards resolution
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills across internal and external organizations
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work accurately in a dynamic, deadline-driven environment
- Excellent MS Excel and MS Office skills
