Job Summary
Manage one to two indirect categories representing approximately $50M of spend by developing and executing strategic category plans that balance 40% strategic planning with 60% hands-on execution. Drive savings initiatives to optimize spend under management while improving procurement cycle times for assigned categories. Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure successful adoption of indirect procurement processes and support the shaping of the organization's indirect procurement strategy. Travel globally approximately 10% of the time. This role requires 3-5 years of specific experience in category management and proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of specific experience in category management
- Bachelor's degree in related field (Commerce, Engineering)
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Ability to work effectively in a global, fast-paced environment
- Demonstrated ability to drive results and influence stakeholders
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Travel globally approximately 10% of the time
