Job Summary
Manager – NPI & Industrialization will provide technical leadership and hands-on support for transitioning aerospace parts, assemblies, and processes to qualified suppliers in India. Acts as the technical bridge between OEM engineering teams and supplier manufacturing teams to ensure successful industrialization of transferred components, with emphasis on manufacturability analysis, cost estimation, process validation, and compliance to aerospace standards. Responsibilities include leading bid preparation, supplier capability assessments, capacity analysis, risk mitigation, continuous improvement, and collaboration across global engineering, operations, and supplier quality teams to deliver production readiness and process stability. Key skills include aerospace manufacturing methods (precision machining, sheet metal, special processes), GD&T, ERP/MES familiarity, digital manufacturing tools (MBD/SPC), and strong communication across cross-functional teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, process industrialization, or supplier technical support in aerospace or precision manufacturing
- Experience with AS9100, NADCAP, and related aerospace quality systems
- Familiarity with GD&T (ASME Y14.5) and ability to interpret complex engineering drawings
