Job Summary
Design a scalable, cost-effective, and resilient supply chain footprint that supports long-term growth and customer service excellence. Lead network optimization and scenario planning efforts using advanced modeling and digital twin capabilities to evaluate acquisitions, expansions, consolidations, and automation investments. Drive enterprise-level investment decisions by translating complex operational, financial, and engineering analyses into clear recommendations for senior leadership. Establish the engineering framework for future distribution facilities, defining standards for capacity, flow, automation readiness, and operational scalability. Partner on real estate and location strategy to guide site selection, facility investments, and portfolio optimization. Champion innovation across warehouse and fulfillment operations by evaluating automation technologies and emerging solutions. Build cross-functional partnerships across Operations, Transportation, Finance, and Technology to align network strategies with business priorities. Develop repeatable planning methodologies and analytical capabilities that become the foundation for strategic network evaluations and long-range supply chain planning.
Required Qualifications
- Strong background in: Facility layout
- Strong background in: Warehouse engineering
- Strong background in: Capacity modeling
- Strong background in: Distribution center design
- Strong background in: Flow analysis
- Strong background in: Slotting
- Experience using network optimization software (e.g., Llamasoft Supply Chain Guru, Coupa Supply Chain Design, Optilogic, AnyLogistix, or similar)
- Advanced analytical skills using Excel and SQL and/or Python
- Experience building executive business cases for capital investments
- Strong presentation and communication skills with Director and VP-level stakeholders
- Knowledge of warehouse automation including AS/RS, goods-to-person, AMRs, conveyors, and robotics
- GIS experience (ArcGIS, ESRI)
- Familiarity with real estate economics and industrial site selection
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- 5-10 years of related job experience
- Ability to manage multiple projects, work under pressure, and adapt to sudden changes in the work environment
- Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills are required
- Strong planning and organization skills are required
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail skills are required
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Preferred - Industrial Engineering
- Experience working with ERP systems, contract management, CRM systems and project management tools preferred
