Job Summary
Manager - Supply Chain role at South Asia Textiles Limited, Pugoda, Sri Lanka. Responsible for liaising with foreign principals, suppliers, logistics partners and related institutions; planning, managing, and coordinating sourcing and procurement to meet product demand; handling customs/BOI requirements; coordinating with clearing agents, freight forwarders, and transportation companies to secure best rates; collecting and analyzing information, compiling reports, and preparing documentation; developing supply chain strategies to maximize customer satisfaction at the lowest cost; leading the supply chain team and measuring performance via KPIs; ensuring adherence to procurement and related controls, with recommendations for continuous improvement. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience and 5+ years of senior-level supply chain/logistics experience; SAP experience is advantageous. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Supply Chain/Logistics, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of supply chain, logistics and import procedures for foreign procurement experience at Senior Manager level
- Ability to continuously add value to the supply chain function
- Good communication/negotiation skills
- Experience in using SAP would be an added advantage
