Job Summary
Lead a team of 7-15 logistics professionals and direct all site operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant execution of warehousing, materials management, production planning, drumming, and shipping activities. Develop and implement logistics strategies that optimize operational performance while maintaining appropriate inventory levels of raw materials to meet production requirements and customer demand. Manage logistics and warehouse budgets, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and cost optimization. Serve as an active member of the Site Leadership Team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and operational excellence across the manufacturing plant and warehouse environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- 8-10 years of relevant experience
- Master's degree/MBA
- 5-8 years of relevant experience
- Proven leadership experience managing logistics, supply chain, warehousing, production planning, or related operations teams
- Strong experience in production planning, forecasting, inventory management, or other analytically intensive operational roles
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams, develop talent, and drive engagement across diverse workgroups
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
- Experience managing operational budgets and balancing customer service, productivity, and cost objectives
- Knowledge of manufacturing, warehouse, and logistics operations within a regulated industrial environment
- Thorough understanding of all applicable safety policies, procedures, and regulations
- Ability to wear and work safely with required personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Lead a team of approximately 7-15 direct reports
- Hold responsibility for site logistics performance and customer satisfaction outcomes
- Manage budgets associated with Logistics, MPUB, and MDC warehouse operations
- Collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure alignment between production, planning, inventory, and customer service goals
- Travel requirement of approximately 2-5%
