Job Summary
Manager Supply Chain 1 lead a team overseeing shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations supporting production programs, coordinating with QA, Engineering, Warehousing, Traffic, and Procurement; responsible for meeting direct budget targets, updating work instructions, and providing performance metrics to improve productivity, quality, and efficiency; drive KPIs and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements in Space Sector programs; oversee material receipt, storage, issue, and transportation, including major and specialty movements; travel up to 25% and facilitate collaboration with internal and external customers including local/state/federal/international agencies; seek alignment with Northrop Grumman values and leader characteristics while ensuring safety and cost efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree with 4 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, or business management
- OR a Master’s Degree with 2 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, or business management
- OR a High School Diploma/Equivalent with 8 years of experience in supply chain management, project management, manufacturing, operations, or business management
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ experience leading a team, process, and/or projects
- Must have basic knowledge of Material Planning or Production Planning and/or equivalent Planning experience
- Ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) within a reasonable period of time
- Current Special Access Program (SAP) is preferred with a Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field
