Manager, Supplier Quality - Drive/Energy

Job Summary
Lead all supplier quality planning and execution of manufacturing, assembly techniques, and quality control processes from advanced development through serial production. Oversee quality performance and functional standards across the supply chain to ensure customer satisfaction, while managing supplier PPAPs and industrialization activities on schedule and within cost. Partner with Supply Chain to resolve escalations, drive continuous improvement using Lean Manufacturing principles, and ensure suppliers meet robust processes for mass production. Build and mentor a team of Supplier Quality professionals, conduct audits, and collaborate cross-functionally with Design, Quality, and Manufacturing to define performance specifications. Manage supplier improvements in cost, quality, and manufacturability while ensuring timely completion of corrective actions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's in Business, Mechanical/Vehicle Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Master's a plus
- 7 years of experience in automotive engineering/product quality
- At least 3 years in a leadership role with disciplinary or technical leadership responsibility in an OEM/ Tier 1
- Demonstrated proven technical leadership ability with regards to automotive engineering/product quality
- Sound knowledge of vehicle development, vehicle production and supply chain management
- Excellent Operations experience
- Very good understanding of the vehicle assembly/ functionality as a whole
- Sound knowledge of Supplier Quality Management
- Financial Acumen
- Experience in Quality Systems: PPAP/APQP processes
- In-depth knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and inspection
- Understanding of safety requirements
- Understanding of IATF, VDA, ISO, DIN, and regulatory requirements
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- High level of assertiveness
