Job Summary
Lead Subcontracts management for an aerospace/defense program: develop subcontract specifications, work statements, and terms; prepare bid packages, conduct bidders conferences, analyze proposals, negotiate subcontract provisions, select/recommend subcontractors, write awards, and administer resulting subcontracts; coordinate changes and policy updates with contracts administration; guide supplier relations, and ensure compliance with FAR/DFARS and business-law requirements; supervise and mentor Subcontracts Administrators; travel about 25% and maintain required security clearance.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of experience in Subcontracts, or Contracts
- Master’s Degree and 3 years of experience in Subcontracts, or Contracts
- High School Diploma/Equivalent and 9 years of experience in Subcontracts, or Contracts
- Must have Aerospace & Defense experience in Subcontracts or Contracts
- Must have Subcontracts or Contracts experience with FAR / DFARS or Business Law
- Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret and Top Secret Clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company
