Job Summary
Strategic planning and governance for student governance structures; oversee operations of the SGO, coordinate elections and compliance with ISRC Constitution and university policies; manage protest responses, financial planning and budgeting; lead training, capacity building and governance projects; foster stakeholder engagement and reporting; supervise staff and ensure alignment with institutional goals; assume duties as required by Deputy Director Head: Institutional Student Governance Office; foster open communication among governance bodies and external stakeholders; ensure documentation and records management; support leadership development and employability through co-curricular programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or an Advanced Diploma/B.Tech degree/Postgraduate Certificate on NQF Level 7 in the Social Sciences, Education, Public Administration or a related discipline.
- A minimum of three (3) years’ relevant experience in student affairs, student governance, stakeholder engagement, project management, leadership development or a related field.
