Job Summary
Strategic Operations Manager for the Tax Service Line at BDO Canada, supporting the Tax Senior Leadership Team. Responsible for driving strategic priorities, operational planning, national projects, transformation initiatives, and leadership decision-support. Lead performance management and business intelligence activities, develop actionable insights, and coordinate cross-functional efforts with Finance, HR, Operations, Markets, and other functions. Manage project oversight, change enablement, stakeholder coordination, and delivery of executive-ready presentations and leadership updates. The role emphasizes strategic execution, operational efficiency, risk identification, and alignment with firm strategy in a fast-paced, confidential professional services environment.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in a professional services environment
- University degree in Business Administration or related field; MBA or professional designation considered an asset
- strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- experience in project management, stakeholder coordination, and change management
- ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, confidential environment
- ability to work with data, reporting tools, and business insights to support leadership decision-making
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization
