Job Summary
Strategic Market Insights Manager to lead the development of Vertiv’s annual market model, create measurement plans, and deliver actionable insights through datasets and visualizations (e.g., Power BI dashboards) for senior leadership. Responsibilities include cross-functional collaboration across strategy, product, sales, and finance; presenting research findings and strategic recommendations; tracking market share; and driving continuous improvement of insight frameworks and analytics processes. Requires strong data management, measurement, and storytelling skills, with experience translating complex data into business implications for executive audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in economics, statistics, business analytics, market research, computer science, or a related field is required.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in market research, competitive intelligence, or strategic insights, ideally within a B2B industrial or technology environment.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data visualization platforms (e.g., Power BI). Experience with Google Suite, survey platforms, and database tools is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex datasets into meaningful insights and strategic implications.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present to executive audiences.
- Demonstrated success working across functions in a matrixed, global organization.
- Master’s degree or MBA and experience in the data center, critical infrastructure, or industrial technology sector preferred.
