Job Summary
Lead Golden Hippo's strategic finance function by building detailed financial models, analyzing unit economics, and providing decision support on product launches and marketing investments. Partner with cross-functional leaders to optimize profitable growth, oversee portfolio performance reviews, and strengthen financial systems through collaboration with accounting and data teams. Mentor a small team to elevate modeling and analytical capabilities while translating business strategy into actionable financial insights.
Required Qualifications
- Strong understanding of DTC and subscription economics (CAC, LTV, churn, retention, margins)
- Exceptional financial modeling and analytical skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business strategy into financial implications
- Excellent communicator and storyteller – able to simplify complex data into clear insights
- Working familiarity with FP&A tooling and reporting systems (e.g. NetSuite, Rill, Tableau, etc.)
- Collaborative, adaptable and comfortable working in fast-paced, dynamic environments
- Bachelors Degree
- 5+ years relevant experience
Desired Qualifications
- MBA with focus in Finance or Strategy (preferred)
