Manager, Strategic Corporate Tax

Job Summary
Lead and deliver tax compliance and advisory services for corporations and operating partnerships, collaborating with ASC 740 provisions and tax planning across client portfolios from Fortune 100 to growing businesses. Manage and mentor tax professionals and assistants, oversee client portfolios, build strong internal/external relationships, and drive high-quality tax service delivery. For Senior Manager, additionally manage risk and financial performance of engagements, identify growth opportunities, and guide cross-functional collaboration to expand the tax practice.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; licensed CPA, EA or JD/LLM, in addition to others on KPMG's approved credential listing; any individual who does not possess at least one of the approved designations/credentials when their employment commences, has one year from their date of hire to obtain at least one of the approved designations/credentials; should you like to see the complete list of currently approved designations/credentials for the hiring practice/service line, your recruiter can provide you with that list
- Experience with corporate taxation, consolidations, strong knowledge of ASC 740 and tax provisions or operating partnerships
- Prior experience managing multiple client engagements and client service teams
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills with the ability to articulate complex information
- Minimum eight years of recent corporate tax experience in an accounting firm, corporation and/or law firm (Senior Manager)
