Job Summary
The Manager, Storage & Data Protection Services oversees leadership and governance of the enterprise storage, backup, recovery, and disaster recovery programs. Responsible for directing a team of Storage and Backup Engineers and Administrators, ensuring availability, integrity, recoverability, and regulatory compliance of enterprise data assets. Manages backup platforms (Dell EMC Avamar, IBM Spectrum Protect/TSM, Dell EMC Data Domain, Dell EMC ECS), backup policy management, retention, recovery standards, DR readiness, data migration initiatives, and storage modernization, while driving continuous improvement, operational excellence, and technology modernization. Key duties include capacity planning, performance monitoring, lifecycle management, governance of storage architecture standards, vendor management, audits and compliance, and cross-functional coordination with business and technology stakeholders. Education requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required) and a Master’s degree (preferred); 8+ years of storage/backup experience and 5+ years of leadership experience are expected. Base pay ranges from $138,750 to $240,000 annually, with location- and skill-based variations; benefits and compensation reflect experience, licensure, certifications, and location.
Required Qualifications
