Manager, Sterile Processing (Full-Time, Day Shift)

Manage the Sterile Processing Department, overseeing supply procurement, inventory, and patient billing for Perioperative Services. Direct Operating Room personnel performing material control and patient billing functions while ensuring adequate supplies are maintained. Coordinate budgetary recommendations and develop policies to maintain quality assurance standards for sterilization, decontamination, and distribution of surgical supplies. Supervise hiring, performance appraisals, and vacation schedules while establishing in-service education programs. Interact regularly with Operating Room staff to advise on products, equipment, and services necessary for patient care. Requires Bachelor's degree, Sterile Processing Technician certification, and five years of technical experience. Full-time day shift position in Kings County.
