Manager, Statutory Reporting

Job Summary
Own end-to-end statutory reporting processes for assigned legal entities by acting as the primary point of contact for statutory reporting matters in specific countries. Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and investigate differences between US GAAP and local GAAP items while ensuring accurate filing of statutory financial statements in compliance with local regulations. Provide timely audit supporting documentation to external auditors, collaborate cross-functionally with Legal, Tax, and external advisors, and manage resolution of open items arising from local statutory audits. Update relevant accounting and tracking data, support monthly intercompany packages, and drive continuous process improvements to enhance efficiency. Execute tasks in accordance with company policies and procedures, including SOX compliance, while prioritizing strict deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance or Economics
- Minimum 3+ years' hands-on experience
- Fluent in English
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems
- Experience with intercompany transactions in a multi-jurisdictional business environment
- Knowledge of accounting closing processes and controls
- Ability to prioritize and meet strict deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- CPA/CMA/ACCA or equivalent accounting qualification
- Preferably experience with a Big 4 public accounting firm or a US-owned European Company
- Other additional European languages
- Enthusiasm for driving process improvements using available technologies
- Experience with data analytics and macros (and/or other automation tools)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong attention to details and problem-solving skills
- A team player with a service-oriented attitude and proactive thinking
