Job Summary
Manage a team of finance professionals supporting external audits for Mastercard companies worldwide. Provide support to the Director, Statutory COE regarding financial and statutory reporting, including preparation of financial statements, audit requests, workforce planning, and meeting audit deadlines. Maintain bridge files to administer differences between US GAAP and local accounting frameworks or IFRS, working proactively with controllership and GBSC teams. Support year-end accounting, SOX compliance, and control improvements while assisting with managing audit data and issues. Liaise with external providers and key stakeholders such as KPMG and PWC to resolve issues and ensure timely deliverables.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, AMCA, ACCA)
- comprehensive knowledge of accounting principles, financial statements and financial reporting requirements
- Experience in financial audits, working with external auditors and consultants
- Advanced MS Excel skills
- strong attention to detail
- ability to work independently through obstacles
- Experience in statutory reporting with IFRS
- US GAAP experience
- Oracle/Hyperion skills

- Experience in financial audits, working with external auditors and consultants

- Ability to deliver results in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency & accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple activities in a condensed timeframe
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - experience creating and delivering presentations for training events
- Must have strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently through obstacles
- Experience in statutory reporting with IFRS and US GAAP experience
- Oracle/Hyperion skills beneficial
