Job Summary

Oversee the licensed Starbucks café inside Macy’s, ensuring a safe, efficient, brand-right operation that meets Starbucks and Macy’s standards. Lead and develop Supervisors and Baristas, drive exceptional customer service, manage food/beverage preparation and presentation, optimize labor schedules and costs, handle ordering/inventory/invoice processing, review financials to meet sales and profit goals, ensure food safety and health compliance, manage cash handling and POS procedures, and collaborate with Macy’s leadership and Starbucks district teams to align on strategy and priorities. Strong emphasis on leadership, teamwork, operational excellence, and adherence to company values and policies.

Required Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years retail, restaurant, or food service management experience
  • ServSafe certification or state/local food handler permit (as required)
  • Ability to obtain Barista Basics, Barista Trainer, Daily Ops, and LS Leader certifications for Starbucks Licensed leaders within introductory period
