Job Summary
Oversee all aspects of café operations, ensuring a safe, efficient, and brand-right environment that meets Starbucks, Macy's Foods Division, and Health Department standards. Recruit, hire, train, and develop Supervisors and Baristas while delivering exceptional customer service by modeling Starbucks connection standards. Manage ordering, inventory, and financial reports to control costs and achieve sales and profit goals. Develop labor plans that optimize productivity and ensure full compliance with food safety and sanitation regulations. Build strong partnerships with Macy's leadership and Starbucks District Managers to align on strategy and operational priorities. Serve as a role model in professionalism and foster an inclusive culture of acceptance and respect. A flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- 2+ years of retail, restaurant, or food service management experience
- Must be ServSafe certified or have food handler permit
- Must be able to successfully obtain Barista Basics certification
- Must be able to successfully obtain Barista Trainer certification
- Must be able to successfully obtain Daily Ops certification
- Must be able to successfully obtain LS Leader certification
Desired Qualifications
- Starbucks or Starbucks licensed café experience
