Job Summary
Manager / Sr. Manager, Mobile/SDK Engineering (Dublin) who will establish and expand Verve's European engineering hub in Dublin, lead the global Mobile SDK chapter across Dublin, Hamburg, and Bangalore, and drive local hub-building, talent acquisition, and organizational strategy. Responsibilities include recruiting and mentoring engineers, defining team charters and sprint capacity, refining agile workflows and release processes, aligning platform roadmaps with product management, overseeing cross-location synchronization of Android (.AAR) and iOS (.xcframework) pipelines, and guiding platform modernization initiatives (e.g., Google Android Privacy Sandbox integration and Swift Package Manager adoption). The role requires collaboration with Product Management, networking with cross-location stakeholders (Director/VP level), and fostering a high-performance engineering culture across distributed teams while leveraging AI/tools to improve testing and debugging efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of total professional mobile software engineering experience
- 1–2+ years of formal people-management or team-lead experience
- 8+ years of total professional mobile software engineering experience (for Senior Manager level)
- 3+ years of dedicated, formal people-management experience (for Senior Manager level)
- Proven track record of managing distributed cross-border teams
- Experience with Android and iOS code environments and SDK distribution
