Manager, SQFI Business & Data Analytics

Job Summary

Build and maintain data models, pipelines, and semantic layers that transform certification, audit, customer, and financial data into reliable analytics assets using Power BI, SQL, and Python. Develop dashboards, apply AI-assisted methods to forecast outcomes, and deliver executive-ready recommendations that strengthen operational efficiency and certification integrity. Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize enhancements, and lead testing efforts including User Acceptance Testing. Identify process optimizations to streamline audit management systems and workflows, while managing project scope and delivering solutions within budget. Create detailed documentation, process maps, and visualizations to communicate findings to senior management, alongside training business users on new systems. Lead or support projects aimed at improving information systems, ensuring timely delivery, and resolving issues through rigorous change management processes.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of three to five years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within a food safety, regulatory, or audit environment
  • A college degree in Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, Business Administration, Engineering, Finance or a related field
  • Strong experience with: Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, data analysis tools, data integration and reporting tools like Statistical Analytical Systems (SAS), Power BI, Tableau or similar tools, Python, and SQL
  • Proven experience in process documentation, data analysis, and project management methodologies both traditional and Agile/Scrum
  • Must be able to use logical, analytical and critical thinking skills to look at a problem using a big picture approach and consider multiple options
  • Must be a problem solver
  • Ability to extract and summarize data in a manner to tell a story
  • Computer and internet expertise with an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams and Outlook
  • Expert level written and verbal communication skills (including the ability to generate clear and concise reports, presentations and other documents summarizing data findings)
  • Public speaking experience is required
  • Must be self-directed with strong organizational and project management skills that reflect an ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail and with minimal supervision
  • Ability to thrive in a fluid, fast-paced work environment
  • Personal qualities must include drive, determination, flexibility, open-mindedness, and must be a highly resourceful collaborator
  • The person in this position will be eligible to work a hybrid work schedule Monday through Thursday requiring a minimum of two days in the office per week during that four-day period
  • Every Friday will be a remote workday (unless business needs require the person to be in the office)

Desired Qualifications

  • Knowledge of Power Platform automation is a plus
  • Experience with audit management systems or familiarity with certification standards is a plus
  • Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools is a plus
