Job Summary
Manager, Sports & Entertainment at WPP Media leads and oversees production and execution of content partnership campaigns (AV, AFP, Publisher, Audio, Social & Digital) across the Sports & Entertainment team. You will work with a diverse portfolio of high-profile clients and media partners, build strong relationships with Client Planning Leads and the Media Partnership Activation team, and manage multiple projects to deliver high-quality client service. The role requires executive-level experience in media agencies or similar, deep knowledge of media channels, and a proven ability to manage partnerships and production processes in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. The position is UK-based with a hybrid in-office schedule (in Manchester, four days a week) and requires the right to work in the UK.
Required Qualifications
- Experience at Exec/Snr Exec level in a media agency, media owner or similar
- Good knowledge of media channels including AV, publisher, audio, and digital
- Clear understanding of content partnerships and production processes
- Hyper-organised with strong project management skills
- Excellent client management and ability to lead client meetings and deliver presentations
- Proactive, enthusiastic, and creative problem-solver with ability to work under deadlines
- Ability to work in a hybrid office environment in the UK
- Right to work in the UK
