Job Summary
Oversee strategic leadership and day-to-day operations of the Spiritual Care Department across Mercy Hospital Jefferson and affiliated clinics; provide direct spiritual care as a chaplain; supervise the use of technology for spiritual care; operate in a matrix environment with direct supervisors in mission and Spiritual Care; contribute to ministry-wide vision, standards, and strategic goals for Spiritual Care and implement these locally.
Required Qualifications
- Masters, Theology, Ministry or related studies
- Four units of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE)
- Two (2) years of recent health care experience
- Leadership experience supervising others in and outside of a healthcare setting
- Eligible and working toward Chaplain Board Certification
