Job Summary
Manage special projects from initiation through completion, including developing plans, coordinating teams, and ensuring operational transitions. Lead assignments such as relocations, opt-outs, and program expansions while overseeing large-scale tenant relocation efforts in collaboration with the Relocation Division. Establish timelines, monitor progress, and conduct data reconciliation to maintain accuracy and improve data quality. Collaborate with internal departments and external stakeholders to improve processes and provide status updates to management and sponsors. Develop business processes aligned with Authority metrics and produce technical documentation and status reports. Provide exceptional customer service to diverse stakeholders and support HCVP Executive staff.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited four (4) year college or university with a degree in social work, public policy, information technology, project management, or related field
- At least four (4) years of experience in low-income housing
- Experience with the Housing Choice Voucher Program
- Demonstrated experience with managing complex projects and initiatives
- Advanced time management and analytical skills
- Client-facing communication skills
- Valid state of Maryland driver's license
- Ability to be covered under the Authority's vehicle insurance policy
- Availability to work some evenings and weekends when necessary
- Successful completion of a prescreening investigation, including verification of employment history and education credentials
