Job Summary
Sourcing Manager leads a Corporate Accounts team supporting day-to-day, customer-driven sourcing requests aligned to sales execution and margin protection. Builds a high-performing, service-oriented team with knowledge of products, suppliers, and market dynamics; sets expectations around responsiveness, quality, and commercial judgment; partners with Sales, Supply Chain, Planning, and Category teams to enable profitable growth; identifies bottlenecks and drives continuous improvement; establishes and reports KPIs related to sourcing performance.
Required Qualifications
- 8–10+ years of progressive sourcing, procurement, or related commercial experience
- Proven experience leading and developing sourcing, pricing, or procurement teams—preferably in an execution-oriented environment
- Strong understanding of distribution economics, pricing dynamics, and supplier management
- Ability to influence without authority and manage a geographically dispersed team
- High standards for operational discipline, responsiveness, and quality
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Work Experience: 5-10 years of related experience of successful supervisory/management experience
- Excellent verbal, written, people, and diplomacy skills
- Experience of interpreting strategy and policy to set and deliver objectives
- Experience of planning, managing and organizing resources within short/medium timescales
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong planning and organization skills
