Job Summary
Develop and execute domestic and global sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, delivery, and supply continuity. Identify, evaluate, and qualify new suppliers in international markets while building strategic partnerships focused on risk management and innovation. Lead supplier negotiations for pricing, contracts, and CAPEX initiatives, then monitor performance through KPIs and scorecards to drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements for new product development and analyze market conditions to support informed decisions. Manage a team responsible for sourcing operations, ensuring adherence to budgets and organizational goals while utilizing ERP systems to streamline processes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum of five (5) years of sourcing or procurement experience, including responsibility for domestic and international supplier management
- Strong knowledge of global sourcing practices, international trade regulations, tariffs, import/export compliance, and supply chain risk management
- Proficiency with ERP systems and sourcing/procurement software
- Strong analytical, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams in a fast-paced manufacturing or supply chain environment
- Ability to analyze market intelligence, benchmark supplier performance, and identify cost-saving opportunities
- Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally as business needs require
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks effectively
- Ability to follow all safety requirements
Desired Qualifications
- 1 – 3 years’ supervisory or people management experience preferred
