Job Summary

Lead, coach, and grow a high-performing Solutions Engineering team that serves as the primary technical resource for the Sales organization. Drive customer value by refining technical sales processes, partnering with Sales leadership and Account Executives to contribute to ARR, and hiring/onboarding the next wave of Solutions Engineers. Act as a key technical liaison across Sales, Product, and Engineering, translating strategy into actionable goals for the team while developing talent and fostering an inclusive culture. Responsibilities include mentoring the team, guiding complex customer evaluations and technical challenges, optimizing demos and proof-of-concept methodologies, and driving adoption of Mixpanel’s data analytics platform. The role requires a player-coach mindset with deep knowledge of data products and the modern data stack, and a proven ability to communicate complex concepts to diverse stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of people management experience leading a technical pre-sales, solutions engineering, or professional services team
  • progressive experience in a B2B SaaS environment
  • expertise in communicating complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • ability to mentor and develop talent
  • strong cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Product, and Engineering
  • ability to balance customer needs with efficiency goals and manage workload in a dynamic environment
