Job Summary
Lead and develop the EMEA Solutions Engineering team of eight, establishing a coaching cadence that elevates individual performance and team craft. Drive the evolution of the SE motion from a repeatable demo approach to a consultative, value-based engagement model while maintaining speed and volume where appropriate. Define technical engagement standards by building and iterating on playbooks for discovery, demo quality, and POC approaches. Strengthen the SE-AE partnership across the region by ensuring SE contribution is well-integrated into the sales motion and coaching advisors to act as trusted technical experts. Lead AI adoption and modern tooling by modeling hands-on use, identifying efficiency gains, and building team processes around these technologies. Own team performance and reporting by tracking key metrics such as technical win rates, deal attachment, and pipeline influence. Partner with recruiting to define hiring profiles, manage the interview process, and ensure new hires contribute to the team's direction and culture.
Required Qualifications
- Prior experience managing a Solutions Engineering team
- People management skills including 1:1s, performance conversations, hiring, and team dynamics
- 3 to 5 years of SE management experience
- Total pre-sales or SE career of 7+ years
- Experience leading a team through the shift from a volume-based SE motion to a more consultative, value-based approach
- Knowledge of when to preserve speed and demo-forward execution
- Genuine AI and modern tooling fluency
- Hands-on use of AI in own workflow
- Track record of building team processes around AI tools
- EMEA market experience
- Understanding of the region's diversity in language, geography, GRC and compliance maturity
- Knowledge of how buyers across different markets approach security decisions
- Based in London
- Comfortable working in a hybrid model (3 days per week in office)
- Demonstrating curiosity, a willingness to learn, and sound judgment in applying AI responsibly to improve efficiency and impact

- Familiarity with GRC, compliance, or security SaaS
- GDPR fluency
