Job Summary
Manager, Solutions Architecture at Retool leads and delivers end-to-end full-stack solutions for customers using Retool, oversees a team of Solutions Architects, and guides partners to scale services. The role involves building Retool applications, integrating the platform into customer stacks, advising on end-to-end solutions, developing new service offerings, scoping and estimating professional services engagements, enabling partners, and acting as a trusted advisor to customers. Strong emphasis on collaborative work, clear technical communication, risk management, and shaping the consulting practice to scale delivery and impact. Located in the US with hybrid work options (New York, NY).
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years in technical, customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Customer Engineer, or Deployed Engineer
- 2+ years of leadership or team lead experience, or demonstrated success in mentoring and influencing other SAs in a fast-paced, high-velocity environment
- Hands-on experience with full-stack development, including SQL, JavaScript, APIs, and Python
- Experience designing scalable cloud architectures and integrating enterprise systems
- Exceptional technical communication skills, translating customer requirements between business and technical teams to drive successful implementations
- Ability to think on your feet, troubleshoot issues, and provide real-time solutions during technical discussions
- Comfortable with open-ended problem-solving in unstructured environments
