Job Summary
Lead and mentor a team of Software Project Managers, establishing performance expectations, conducting reviews, and recruiting high-performing talent to drive warehouse automation software implementations. Own the software project portfolio from initiation through customer acceptance, balancing workloads, monitoring financial performance, and mitigating risks using Microsoft Project and other tools. Oversee the Software Development Lifecycle, including BRDs, UML documentation, FAT, UAT, and Go-Live support, while serving as the executive escalation point for complex customer engagements. Partner with Engineering, Sales, and Operations to optimize resource utilization, establish department KPIs, and standardize project methodologies. Requires 12+ years of software project management experience and 5+ years in people leadership, with up to 30% travel for customer meetings and testing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Project Management, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 12+ years of software project management experience
- 5+ years of people leadership or management experience
- Proven experience managing multiple Project Managers and enterprise customer implementations
- Experience leading software delivery within warehouse automation, material handling, logistics, or industrial automation environments
- Demonstrated success managing large-scale automation projects involving software, controls, robotics, PLCs, conveyors, and ASRS technologies
- Must be able to speak, read and understand the English language

- Comprehensive knowledge of: Microsoft Project / Project Web App
- Comprehensive knowledge of: Jira, Azure DevOps, or Team Foundation Server
