Job Summary
Software Engineering Manager leading a high-impact team focused on next-generation machine autonomy software for earthmoving machinery. Directly supervise 4–6 engineers, drive release management, provide hands-on technical coaching, and align cross-functional partners on scope, cost, quality, and timing. Operate within a globally dispersed CTCT engineering network, champion continuous improvements in software development frameworks, ensure code maintainability and enterprise documentation, and promote a positive health and safety culture. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field, 6+ years of product development with leadership experience, and knowledge of C++, Java, Angular, or software testing/validation. Bonus points for Android, hardware interfaces, or deeply embedded systems.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 6 years of product development experience
- proven experience as Software Engineering Supervisor/Lead/Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
- Foundational knowledge in C++, Java, Angular, or Software Testing/Validation
- Experience managing global dispersed teams and software projects
- Strong communication skills, ability to translate complex requirements into technical specs
- Bonus: Android, hardware interfaces, embedded systems experience
