Job Summary
Manage, mentor, and guide a team of high-performing engineers while fostering a collaborative, inclusive environment. Provide continuous feedback, address performance issues, and maintain visibility into team health through regular 1:1s. Lead strategic initiatives that balance high-impact projects with technical debt management and resource allocation. Partner with Product and Design teams to define roadmaps, prioritize backlogs, and ensure the delivery of high-quality, customer-focused products. Foster continuous improvement in code quality, architecture, and team processes, while resolving conflicts and facilitating decision-making within the group.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
- At least 7 years of industry experience building and shipping software
- Proven experience leading software engineering teams
- Demonstrated experience shipping both web and mobile products at scale
- Prior hands-on experience as a software engineer
- Strong ability to decompose complex business problems into actionable technical plans
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
