Job Summary
Empower and develop the software development team within the Agile framework by coaching, mentoring, and promoting self-organization. Align engineering with business goals through competence assessments, strategy definition, goal setting, and performance evaluations while coordinating training and attracting new talent. Coordinate all aspects of team delivery within budget, schedule, and quality guidelines, providing effort estimations and collaborating with product owners to prioritize resources effectively. Collaborate with SQA and test architects to identify key areas for test automation and drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize processes. Foster cooperation with cross-functional teams and manage relationships with key technology vendors and contractor agencies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field
- 5-10 years of work experience in software engineering
- Ability to make data-driven decisions
- High learning agility and understanding of complex business and products
- Proven leadership and communication skills
- Ability to interact effectively with cross-functional and cross-cultural teams to support business objectives
- Team-focused, with solid strategic, planning, and organizational skills
